Folgers Noir Rich Satin Coffee Review
This was the second Folgers Noir product I tried, the first being the Folgers Noir Smoky Mountain dark roast.
Folgers is not a coffee brand I typically drink. In fact, these Noir coffee roasts were the first roasts I have had from Folgers. They are definitely better than I had imagined them being.
ABOUT
Just like the other Folgers Noir coffee I tried, this Rich Satin is also a dark roast made of 100% Arabica coffee beans.
As far as the roast level is concerned, this is considered to be a medium-dark roast.
Folgers indicates that this is “a dark roast with full body and smooth finish.”
REVIEW
Brewing this coffee is fairly simple, and it helps that Folgers included some very simple directions on the side of the packaging. Way to go, Folgers!
Comparing this Rich Satin Noir to the Smoky one that I had previous to this one, I have to say I like the Smoky Noir much more.
This Rich Satin blend is great and much smoother than I thought it would be. The Smoky blend just has a little more flavor that I love.
This Folgers Noir Rich Satin would be a perfect coffee to pair with donuts or danishes in the morning. It is just dark enough to let you know that it is dark, but without some of the extremely bitter, burnt notes that most darker roasts often carry.
