White Lady Cocktail Recipe

The White Lady became a famously known cocktail after appearing in a 1930 book - Savoy Cocktail Book. Today you can still order this iconic cocktail at the Savoy Hotel’s American Bar.

White Lady Cocktail Ingredients

  • Egg white from 1 small egg

  • 3/4 ounce Cointreau

  • 3/4 ounce lemon juice

  • 1 1/2 ounces London dry gin

  • Lemon peel for garnish

How To Make The White Lady Cocktail

Put all ingredients minus the lemon peel garnish into an empty cocktail shaker and shake vigorously without ice. Then, place ice into the cocktail shaker and shake again until chilled. Strain the mixture into either a chilled coupe glass or cocktail glass, slightly express your lemon peel over the glass, then garnish the cocktail with the lemon peel. Enjoy.
